About Us
Barber Capital was born out of a shared passion and commitment to make a meaningful difference.
We're two cousins who grew up side by side, learning the craft of barbering and discovering early on that a barber chair is more than a place for a cut but also a place for conversation.
Over the years, we heard hundreds of stories from FIFO workers sitting in our chairs. Stories of long swings, missing family events, overwhelming stress, and the emotional weight that comes with life on site. What stood out wasn’t just the need for grooming but the need for connection.
We realised something important: men felt safe to talk in the chair, often more than anywhere else. That’s when our purpose became clear. We wanted to take that safe space to them, to remote mining communities where everyday support is often out of reach.

Suicide rates in the mining, construction, and energy sectors are 80% higher than the national average.
