While our barbers create a safe, relaxed space for conversation, we also maintain clear boundaries to ensure every client receives the right type of support.


Meet our
Wellbeing Officer
Azora Ufagalilo
Our dedicated Wellbeing Officer oversees our mental health practices, provides guidance to the team, and ensures our services align with industry best-practice. Their role is to support both our barbers and the clients we meet, helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment on every site.
Client Wellbeing
Our Barbers offer first-step support, not treatment.
If a client is distressed or at risk, our team will:

MHFA Guidlines
Follow Mental Health First Aid protocols, using evidence-based steps to assess the situation and offer immediate support.
Wellbeing Officer
Notify and consult with our Wellbeing Officer, who provides guidance, debriefing, and oversight to ensure the safest response for everyone involved.

Refer or escalate to appropriate on-site or external services
(e.g., supervisors, emergency services, MATES in Mining)
Liability & Responsibility
Barber Capital and its barbers do not accept liability for decisions made by individuals following general conversations, wellbeing guidance, or informal discussions during appointments.
Our role is strictly first aid for mental health, not treatment, diagnosis, or therapy.
